Attendees at the recent CEBIT Expo in Hannover were attracted by a series of live printing demonstrations by Max Harvey the designer and production specialist from Fastsigns Guildford.

Max attended the event with Saville Audio and Visual, which specialises in audio visual, multimedia and video conferencing technology and is a long-standing client of the Guildford centre,

Saville Audio and Visual worked on behalf of Intel and engaged Max to showcase his print and production expertise on the stand throughout the four-day event.

Show attendees got the chance to play designer for the day and to customise their own water flask labels. Using a Roland VersaUV LEC330 printer, Max was tasked with printing out the custom-designs and monitoring print quality before transferring the labels onto each flask for the attendees to take home.

The Guildford Fastsigns centre was also instrumental in the preparations leading up to the event, producing all show collateral for the Saville Audio and Visual team, including banners, vinyl graphics and Foamex boards.

Commenting on the expo, Max said: “Saville Audio and Visual has been one of our clients for almost four years now, so when our contact called me less than 48 hours before the start of the event and told me they needed my help for the next four days, I jumped at the opportunity – despite the tight time constraints.

“Saville is a really great client and over the years, we’ve supported the business on a number of events, but this experience was certainly something very different!”
