A dream come true

A dream come true

An art company has seen its work come to life in the form of stunning wallpaper, printed by Boylan Imaging on Drytac’s ReTac large format print media.

Based in Medicine Hat, AB, Canada, Boylan Imaging is a professional printing company that provides photography, digital and wide-format printing services to a range of customers, ranging from large commercial clients to smaller personal projects. This summer, Boylan Imaging was contacted by artist and graphic design business, Hello It’s Matilda, which had recently relocated from South Africa to Calgary and had received an order to turn one of its paintings into wallpaper.

As a regular user of Drytac ReTac, Boylan Imaging chose this polymeric removable vinyl to deliver the project for Hello It’s Matilda, with impressive results.

“We use the ReTac for a lot of projects,” comments John Boylan, Owner and Manager of Boylan Imaging. “Anyone can work with this product as it doesn’t have to be professionally installed, and the wallpaper project for Hello It’s Matilda went very smoothly.

“In fact the company really had no idea how easy it was to print its work large-scale and had never done this in the past, so it has definitely sparked new creativity for it and its client.”

Posting as @hello.itsmatilda, the company took to Instagram to share photos of its original botanical work, the installation of the wall covering and the colourful finished project – attracting several glowing comments in the process.

In business for 21 years, Boylan Imaging relies on several Drytac products for its work including Emerytex laminating film and Multitac adhesive for a number of mounting purposes and Printable Eclipse PET film for trade show displays.

“Drytac is a great company that offers a variety of products. Its service is great as well,” added John Boylan.
