Antalis expands the sustainable Xanita Print range
Since launching Xanita Print to the UK market in 2019, Antalis has received a positive response from Visual Communications customers that are looking for a sustainable board alternative for use in POS, exhibition, display and signage production.
Now, following customer feedback, Antalis has announced the addition of a new lighter-weight 6mm board to the Xanita range. Available in a 2440 x 1220mm sheet size, it is anticipated that this product will benefit customers in several key ways.
6mm is recognised as being perfectly suitable and easily strong enough to produce robust Free Standing Display Units (FSDU’s). However, for applications where greater strength than a standard corrugated board is required, but the budget does not facilitate the use of 10mm Xanita, 6mm is a more suitable and cost-effective choice. Furthermore, the thinner 6mm product is better suited for use in more creative and intricate designs, for example, exhibition mock-ups or the reproducing of smaller display items. Finally, the addition of 6mm Xanita Print provides customers with an alternative environmentally friendly option to foam PVC for internal POS and signage applications.
The Xanita Print range is a 100 percent recyclable engineered fibre-board, which is manufactured with a corrugated kraft core made of recycled cardboard boxes. As well as being environmentally friendly, Xanita is also lightweight and very strong, making it the ideal solution for a wide range of decorative and even structural applications, including POS, shop-fittings and exhibition graphics.
Paul Neale, Product Manager at Antalis, commented: “Every day, we are working towards providing innovative and sustainable solutions for our customers. With the use of plastics very much under scrutiny, Xanita is helping to meet the demand from those businesses looking to reduce their environmental impact. 6mm Xanita will help to fulfil a need in the market for a commercial, sustainable board that is the ideal choice for a wide range of internal display applications.”
