Antalis goes for gold

It has been announced that Antalis is a winner at the RoSPA Health and Safety Awards 2017, with the company achieving its sixth consecutive Gold Medal award in the annual scheme run by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

Antalis will be presented with the award during a ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel on Wednesday 12rth July 2017, when RoSPA will also be celebrating its centenary.

Through the RoSPA Awards scheme, which is open to businesses and organisations of all types and sizes from across the UK and overseas, judges consider entrants’ overarching occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement. The awards have now been running for 61 years.

David Hunter, Antalis Regional Managing Director for UK, Ireland and Southern Africa, said: “There’s a simple rule at Antalis when it comes to our workplace: safety first and all the time.  This award is testament to our team’s respect for this vision and their daily commitment to keep their workplace in sound order, ensuring they and their co-workers are safe and healthy at work:”

The majority of RoSPA awards are non-competitive and mark achievement at merit, bronze, silver and gold levels. Gold medals, president’s awards and orders of distinction are presented to organisations sustaining the high standards of the gold level over consecutive years.
