Antalis introduces Oracal cast wrap films
Antalis has introduced the full range of premium Oracal 970GRA cast wrap films to enable its customers to tap into the ever-increasing demand for vehicle wrapping.
It now offers 96 colours, which are available in a choice of gloss, matt (including a super matt black option), or metallic finishes, plus a premium shift effect cast option that has a multi-colour shimmer.
A multi-layered, high performance cast PVC film (100 micron) from Orafol, Oracal 970GRA has been specially developed for complete product wrapping, particularly on vehicles. Engineered to the highest technological standards and featuring a built-in protective clear coat layer, it’s highly durable, lasts for up to 12 years, depending on type, and delivers outstanding dimensional stability and gloss retention, without the need for an over-laminate.
Suitable for use on uneven and corrugated surfaces, as well as rivets and corrugations, it features RapidAir Technology to facilitate quick and easy application and eliminate air bubbles. A transparent solvent-based, repositionable, permanent adhesive facilitates removal following the application of heat, leaving little or no adhesive residue.
In order to support sign and print companies that are looking to improve their vehicle wrapping capabilities, the Antalis Academy offers both an introductory and complete workshop course on vehicle wrapping and vinyl application using the Oracal 970GRA range of products. The next available course takes place on 23rd March 2018.
