Antalis launches Interior Design Award
In a celebration of the vast number of design possibilities offered by modern visual communications media, Antalis is launching its inaugural ‘Antalis International Design Award’ competition.
The competition, which will run until 31st December 2017, calls on interior designers, architects, print companies, brand owners and students to submit their best designs using at least one product from the Antalis Coala range, the company’s flagship visual communication brand.
A panel including major international players from the world of design, presided by renowned scenographer François Confino, will judge the entries.
Themed around the ‘just print your imagination’ concept, the competition comprises three different categories all geared towards celebrating a true showcase of self-expression and ingenuity, marking the different artistic sensibilities from around the globe in a way that has never been done before.
The competition will reward the finest completed projects and projects underway from the period of January 1st 2016 to December 31st 2017. Entrants can compete in one or several of the following categories: Hospitality, Restaurant, Retail, Office, Home and Public premises.
The winners will be announced in March 2018 and receive extensive media coverage in Wallpaper and Intramuros magazines and on social media, Antalis’ website and at international trade shows such as Architect@Work and Retail Expo.
For professionals and students who don’t have any completed or current project to submit but still want to let their talent shine, Antalis is offering the possibility of using blank 3D models, which entrants can reinvent with solutions from the Coala range.
The winners will also receive €3,500 and €2,000 for first and second prize respectively. Furthermore, they will have the opportunity to bring their ideas to life by re-designing parts of Antalis’ headquarters or one of the Group’s subsidiaries.
A special cross-category award will be presented to the participant whose project wins the heart of the public and receives the most ‘likes’ on the Antalis Interior Design Award website.
Following the competition, an exclusive book will be made showcasing the very best pieces of work and present the portrait of each winner. The book will be distributed to trade media, museums, architecture firms, design agencies and designers.
