Antalis releases Oralite retroreflective films
Antalis has introduced the Oralite 5200 range of economy grade retroreflective films, which feature a weather-proof, self-adhesive that has been specially developed for use in the manufacture of information signs, such as road traffic signage.
The Oralite 5200 Economy Grade is a high-quality retroreflective film, with excellent corrosion and solvent resistance that is ideal for use in outdoor applications. The films, which are available in white, yellow, orange, red, green, and blue and offer an extremely smooth and scratch-resistant finish, as well as good printability, are also the perfect choice for use with road and traffic signs and emergency service vehicles, which may need to be more visible at night.
The retroreflective system of the Oralite 5200 Economy Grade consists of catadioptric glass beads, which are embedded in a transparent layer of plastic material, allowing for light to be reflected and refracted, whilst reducing aberration.
Oralite 5200 can be screenprinted with Oralite 5018 screen printing ink or inkjet printed with most solvent-based, UV or latex inks. It features an adhesive that offers outstanding adhesion on metallic surfaces, such as aluminium and zinc coated steel plate.
