Brunel invests to offer one-stop shop
Brunel Engraving has recently invested over £150K in cutting edge technology in order to significantly increase its efficiency and output and provide a rapid one-stop service to sign makers and trophy providers throughout the country.

The leading specialist engraver has quadrupled its laser engraving capacity with the installation of two laser engraving machines at its production facility near Bristol.

In addition, a dedicated 1.5kw fibre laser profiling machine, which can cut metals such as stainless steel up to 3mm thick, will enable Brunel to cut profiles, shaped labels and control panels from pre-etched and engraved sheets.

In addition, the company has further invested in an additional rotary engraving machine to expand its production in rotary engraving work. This brings the company’s total number of rotary machines to seven, the largest of which has a maximum bed capacity of 610mm x 1220mm.

The new machines will enable Brunel to offer its customers a faster response time, improved quality control and more competitive pricing.

Commenting on these new investments, Martyn Wright, the founder and Managing Director of Brunel Engraving, said: “Despite the disruption caused by COVID-19 and the resulting recession, we have made a further substantial investment in engraving equipment as we are determined to support industry and our customers.

“Over the past couple of years, we have invested significantly in upgrading our technology and expanding our premises.  We will continue to invest in the future in order to remain at the forefront of the engraving industry and to provide the best possible standards of service.”

Established over 30 years ago, Brunel Engraving is a pioneering engraving specialist that provides a complete service to sign makers and trophy providers. The company, which leads the way in technical innovation, has ISO9001 accreditation and its skilled team of professional engravers is trained to the highest standards in the UK.
