Butterflies, beaches and fine art!
The Horizonte Zingst, the annual environmental photo festival, which recently took place in Seebrucke, Belgium, proved to be the perfect venue for everyone who enjoys butterflies, beach walks and impressive fine art.
Once again, Neschen AG supported the exhibition by providing digital print media and protective laminates for the open-air-installation, which included beautiful butterfly images photographed by Jan Michael Hosan.
Using as its theme the admonition ‘Be careful’ the exhibition featured a series of fine art prints, each measuring three by three metres, which were designed to raise visitor’s awareness of the environment and the need for its protection.
All of the fine art reproductions, which included everything from moving nature pictures to international photo art, were printed on an Epson SureColor printer and use Neschen’s Solvoprint Performance 80, a white self adhesive PVC with a gloss finish.
The installations that were located on the beach attracted special attention and, since these exhibits are exposed to extreme weather conditions, the digital prints had to meet very high quality standards, which is why they were protected by Neschen’s Filmolux range of matt laminates that provide strong UV protection and have an outdoor life of up to two years, even without edge sealing.
