CMYUK expands its senior management team

CMYUK expands its senior management team
In a move that is designed to significantly strengthen its senior management team, CMYUK has announced two new promotions in its consumables business, with Damien Clarke (pictured above right) taking on the role of Sales Director and Joel Willcock (pictured above left) being named as Commercial Director.

Both Joel and Damien will form part of a New Business Development Team that will drive and manage the overall business strategy set by CMYUK’s main board which consists of Jon Price, Group Finance and Operations; Robin East, Group Sales and Marketing; and Michael Crook, in his new role as Business Development Director.

Commenting on this development, Jon Price said: “We have a culture of empowerment at CMYUK and this forms the basis from which we are going to expand the next level. Our restructure establishes a senior management team that will enable us to evolve at a rapid rate and also provides the rest of our staff with the opportunity and freedom to grow, develop and add even more value to the overall business.

“Damien is an outstanding sales performer and leader. He has established a substantial portfolio of major accounts and is regarded very highly within the market.  He is a valuable asset to the business and, in his new role, he will continue to manage key accounts and mentor our sales teams by example to ensure they maximise their potential.

“Joel’s promotion is in recognition of the exceptional performance he has shown in product and supply chain management. The commercialisation of product is a detailed and complex process and Joel’s energy, drive, and commitment have made a huge impact on the business.”

CMYUK also plans to expand to its marketing team with the addition of two full-time digital resource lead generators who will help to build important direct international networks.
