Design the LEGO store of the future
SDEA, the organiser of the Creative Retail Awards is seeking the brightest student talent to design the LEGO Store of the Future for its brand new Student Award.
It is asking students to imagine how a LEGO Brand Retail Store will look in 2025, how it will use technology to enhance the traditional play and experiential features of today’s LEGO stores and how it will change the way people shop in-store and interact in this space.
The Award, sponsored by Morplan, highlights the value of innovative design within the retail space and encourages students to think about the role of physical retail in the future and how it could be made into a destination?
Students are required to design a concept store that demonstrates their understanding of the LEGO brand, its values and its commitment to inspiring and developing the builders of tomorrow. The full brief, guidelines and information on how to submit entries can be found at: www.creativeretailawards.com/studentaward
A panel of experts from the LEGO Agency and LEGO Retail will judge the Student Award.
The winner will receive two tickets to the Creative Retail Awards ceremony to be held on 6th June 2019 at London’s latest super-club, Proud Embankment, where their award will be presented
by representatives of the LEGO Team and Morplan in front of a worldwide audience compiled of retailers, design agencies and brands. In addition, they will also receive some cool LEGO merchandise.
