Discover a world of signage
The third edition of European Sign Expo, which is scheduled to run concurrently with FESPA 2015 at Koelmesse, Cologne, Germany on 18th-22nd May, will offer both signmakers and sign buyers a focused environment in which to explore new horizons in non-printed signage.
The event, which is 20 percent bigger than the 2014 show held in Munich, in terms of floor space, will also enable visitors to discover more about the future of signage – including digital signage networks – through its ‘Ask the Experts’ feature.
Visitors will be able to meet with leading names from the European sign industry who will bring the latest developments in equipment, software, sign materials and systems, fittings and fixtures, channel lettering, illumination, 3D signage and engraving and etching.
Returning to European Sign Expo 2015 will be the ‘Ask the Experts’ feature, a dedicated networking hub where visitors and exhibitors can meet with the industry ‘leading lights’, attend daily panel discussions and debate a wide range of topics focused around digital signage networks.
Roz McGuinness, FESPA’s Divisional Director, explained: “While the exhibits at European Sign Expo will focus predominantly on conventional non-printed signage, ‘Ask the Experts’ will concentrate on digital signage networks and will provide inspirational and practical support for anybody interested in this area.
She continued: “Sign and print companies are now realising that it doesn’t have to be an ‘either or’ market, but that printed and digital signage networks can, and do, complement each other. 40 percent of visitors to FESPA Digital and European Sign Expo 2014 stated that digital signage and live media was the key area that they’d like to see more of at FESPA events and we think that the ‘Ask the Experts’ feature is the perfect way to address this need.”
The last European Sign Expo, which took place alongside FESPA Digital 2014 in Munich last May, attracted 4385 unique visitors, with 80 percent travelling from outside of Germany.
