Double celebrations for Antalis

Antalis UK has recently had recently had cause to celebrate two special occasions. Firstly, the company successfully achieved OHSAS 18001 Certification from leading assessment and certification body Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA).

Occupational Health & Safety Series (OHSAS) is an internationally recognised standard that sets out the requirements for health and safety management good practice and, in order to achieve it, Antalis spent over six months developing and implementing the standard’s requirements before undergoing several days of intensive external and internal audits.

In addition, Antalis also achieved the highest ‘Gold standard’ award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) for the third consecutive year   The award was presented to Mike Hann, Group Antalis’s Health and Safety Manager at the 2014 RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards Ceremony, which took place at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel at the NEC, Birmingham

The prestigious annual RoSPA Awards scheme recognises commitment to continuous improvement in accident and ill health prevention at work.
