Durst wins seven PRINTING United Awards
Durst has announced that it and Vanguard have won a combined seven 2020 Product of the Year awards, which serve to reflect the product depth and reach of the new combined Durst Group organization.

Christoph Gamper, CEO and co-owner of the Durst Group, commented: “The PRINTING United Awards together with our acquisition of Vanguard and our investment in LiftERP further confirm the Durst Group as a powerhouse in the US Graphics Industry.

“We look forward to offering the new expanded portfolio worldwide in 2021 and to further expanding our leading position in the global LFP market.”

 The award winners were the Durst Rho 2500, which won in the UV/Latex Hybrid (+$500K) category, the Durst Rhotex 325, which scooped the award in the RTR Dye Sublimation on Textile (+ $100K) category, the Vanguard VDR5-E, the winner of the Flatbed/Hybrid UV/Latex (+$100K) category, the Vanguard VKM600T, which won in the Flatbed/Hybrid UV/Latex ($100K-$200K) category, the Vanguard VK300HS, the winner of the Flatbed/Hybrid with White UV/Latex ($200K-$500K) category, LiftERP, which won in the Workflow/MIS/CRM category and finally, Durst Workflow, which was judged to be the best in the Software – RIP category.

Tim Saur, President of Durst North America stated, “As a Durst Group we essentially won in every price segment available to print providers in the market.

“Through the talent of our incredible engineering group in Europe, and the design capability of the entire Vanguard team in Atlanta, it is no surprise to me that we won so many product awards.”
