Enjoy the Better Business Experience!
During September, Roland DG will be pioneering its first Better Business Experience Day at its headquarters in Clevedon, Bristol, which is designed to reinvigorate both existing and potential Roland users by presenting them with myriad innovative and inspiring ways to use print-and-cut technology.
The event, which is scheduled to take place on September 16th 2015, from 10.00am-7.00pm, will feature multiple workshops, seminars and lots of opportunities for hands-on machine time, as well as providing attendees with the opportunity to quizza wide variety of industry experts on a multitude of sign and print related topics.
Roland DG staff will also be on hand to demonstrate the technology on display, while the company’s Academy & Creative Centre Manager, Joe Wigzell will be hosting two Intermediate Digital Print workshops and providing visitors with lots of tips and tricks to employ when using Roland’s VersaWorks software.
In addition, Print Product Manager, Mark Elvidge will be pointing out the main features and workflow advantages of Roland’s new RIP for Mac OSX; Rolandprintstudio and the RolandCare team of will be providing short training sessions on machine maintenance and management.
Attendees will also will have an opportunity to meet experts from Corel, Vivid Laminating, Lightbar, Adventa and Tecna UK, all of whom will be running a series of mini demonstrations and participating in useful FAQ sessions.
Further attractions will include wrapping guru James Deacon, who will be demonstrating his vehicle wrapping prowess and veteran Roland User ‘Big Pete’ Colman, who will be revealing how the use of Roland technology has helped him to build a profitable business.
Commenting on the event, Rob Golenowski, Roland DG’s Sales Support Manager, said: “We’re thrilled to be hosting the first Roland-led event in our head office, so that we can provide exactly what our customers and future customers deserve: lots of inspiration, and ideas, plus the knowledge required to put them into practice!”
The event will be held in Roland’s Creative Centre, a virtual tour of which can be accessed on Roland’s website, via the Creative Centre Virtual Tour, thus enabling attendees to gain a tantalising foretaste of the good things on offer! On the day itself, attendees will also be offered the opportunity to view the applications on show at Roland’s other European Creative Centres, via the use of virtual reality headsets.
