Eskopicks up two EDP Awards

Esko’s technology and its positive impact on today’s demanding print production environment has been recognized with two EDP awards. Both were presented to Bruno Vermeulen, EMEA Marketing Director at Esko, at the EDP Award Ceremony held at FESPA in Hamburg.

Founded in 2006 by six trade magazines with amain editorial focus on digital print and production, the EDP Association now has 20 member magazines from all over Europe, covering 26 countries and reaching more than half a million readers in Europe. The Association honours the best developments in print production tools, software developments, substrates, inks, materials and finishing systems and two Esko solutions,Esko’sArtiosCAD and Esko Automated Quality Assurance were awarded among 31 winners chosen from more than 150 entries.

Esko’s ArtiosCAD Display Store is a comprehensive online library of tried-and-tested design templates using basic parameters. The online shop offers a wide selection of designs requiring only size adjustment to be production-ready. This eliminates both time and potential error out of the design process. It is supported by By offering these designs Esko simplifies the process of display making, and significantly increases productivity in the production of visual communications.

Esko’s Automated Quality Assurance is a custom solution of automated quality control tools developed by Esko and industry partners such as GlobalVision. It is a set of strong features that automatically inspects and compares files. Via catching and highlighting problems with spelling, text, barcodes, braille, colours and more packaging specific items in the prepress workflow, it improves the throughput of quality control.
