Falconboard All White is alright!
It is now possible to purchase the Hexacomb Corporation’s FALCONBOARD Print All White display board, which is ideal for use with demanding wide-format digital printing applications, in Europe.
The rigid structure is an ‘all white’ version of the company’s original Falconboard Print and features a solid bleached sulphate white core and liner, as opposed to the white clay-coated kraft liner and testliner paper core of the original.
Falconboard’s paper-based construction offers multiple advantages over petroleum-based (polyethylene, polystyrene or polyvinyl chloride) foam boards. For example, it often contains recycled fibres that offer a more environmentally friendly profile. In addition, its paper-based structure means that it can easily be recycled locally, thus minimising the need for landfill
Falconboard Print All White accommodates most inks and adhesives and can be used for a wide variety of signage and display applications, including higher-end interior signage, two-dimensional displays and point-of-purchase materials and indeed for any application where a clean white edge is required for aesthetic reasons. Additionally, it meets B3 flammability test standards according to DIN 4102-1 (equal to the Euroclass F), is lightweight and heat-resistant up to 80C, whilst its tough core ensures that it is both scratch and warp resistant.
It is available in 1220 x 2440 mm and 1400 x 3050 mm sizes, and thicknesses of 10 or 16 mm.
