Fastsigns on course to sign six new centres

The UK network of Fastsigns, is on course to sign six new franchisees during 2018, which will mean that Fastsigns UK will have delivered its three-year plan for new franchised outlet growth.

The new franchisees will join 20 other centres across the UK and follow in the footsteps of Fastsigns Leicester, Fastsigns Maidstone and Fastsigns Canterbury, which all opened in 2017.

Commenting on the new deals, John Davies, Managing Director of Fastsigns UK, said: “We’ve started 2018 with a robust new franchise enquiries pipeline and are on course to exceed targets.

“Last year, we found that interest was high but many potential franchisees chose to put their plans on hold, largely due to the uncertainty surrounding Brexit and the General Election. However, there now seems to be a renewed confidence and people want to push ahead and get started.

“The fact is, now is a great time to enter the franchise market. Our centres continue to perform well and we’re seeing an increase in the number of large corporate accounts that are being project managed across our entire network.”

Revealing further growth ambitions for 2018, John continued:“Two areas that have huge growth potential for Fastsigns UK centres in 2018 are digital signage networks and dye-sublimation textile printing.

“In 2017, and continuing in to 2018, we have continued to call upon our dedicated digital signage network training experts, bringing them over from our headquarters in Dallas to deliver training that ensures all of our centre teams understand the benefits and features of digital signage, and are able to create engaging content for our customers. We are already reaping the rewards of this activity having completed our largest single digital signage network project, to date, at the close of 2017.”

“Soft signage is generating a lot of interest too. We are increasingly using printing techniques, such as dye sublimation, to deliver vivid imagery for customers.

“Geographically, we are continuing to look for franchise partners along the south coast and in the south west of the UK. We’re also starting to investigate the opportunities in Scotland for the first time when we exhibit at Franchise Opportunities in April.

“We may only be a couple of months into 2018 but it’s already proving to be a year of opportunity and growth.”
