Fastsigns recognises its signage stars
Fastsigns recently held its annual UK Convention, Supplier Showcase and Awards Ceremony in order to celebrate the leading lights of its UK franchise network.
Held at Heythrop Park Resort in Oxford, the event, which was attended by the company’s global CEO, Catherine Monson, provided the UK franchise network with the opportunity to undertake peer to peer learning and meet new and key suppliers, while also rewarding the year’s successes.
The highlight of the two-day session was the glittering awards evening, which featured 10 competitive awards, including Project of the Year, Employee of the Year, Sales Achievement of the Year and the highly coveted, Franchisee of the Year award, which was won by the joint owner of Fastsigns Leeds, Andy Simpson. Andy was rewarded for being an ambassador for the network, supporting the internal mentoring programme and for his keen attention to detail that consistently delights his customers.
This year’s other award winners were: Employee of the Year Iona Lohan from Fastsigns Milton Keynes, Project of the Year and Joint Sales Improvement of the Year went to Fastsigns Manchester, Sales Achievement of the Year, for Fast Signs Manchester, Andy Simpson of Fastsigns Leeds was named as Joint CMF Board Member of the Year, while Rebecca Holliday, also of Fastsigns Leeds, was Sales Person with Highest Revenue. Fastsigns Hammersmith provided the most Comprehensive Customer Solutions of the Year, while Mark Phelps and Matthew King, both of Fastsigns Kingston were named as Joint CMF Board Member of the Year and Sales Person Newcomer of the Year respectively, Finally, Fastsigns Guildford was awarded the Joint Sales Improvement of the Year accolade.
In addition to recognising excellence within the Fastsigns network, the company also reinforced its supplier relationships with the Supplier of the Year award, which was voted for by its franchisees. This year the award was presented to leading vinyl manufacturer, Metamark for its premium product range, exceptional customer service and overall support of the FastsignsUK network.
The convention also hosted a Supplier Showcase, which comprised 27 suppliers to the Fastsigns UK network who exhibited a wide range of different products, including digital signage, LED solutions, printing hardware and substrates, while Catherine Monson delivered keynote speeches to both the franchisee and outside sales professionals within the network, during which she shared her insights for the signage sector and expected industry trends for the coming year.
