Fastsigns UK aims for growth

Fastsigns has announced plans to open at least eight new UK franchises in 2017.

This news follows after the securing of four new franchises in 2016, the first being the UK’s first Fastsigns Co-brand in Oxford North. The remaining three franchises were signed towards the end of the year and will take the number of active UK centres to 23 by the end of quarter one in 2017. The newly signed franchises will be based in Leicester, Stoke-on-Trent and Maidstone.

This latest announcement confirms that the company is well on its way to meeting its target of doubling the current number of franchises in the country by 2018.

Commenting on this increase in the company’s estate, John Davies, Managing Director of FASTSIGNS UK, said: “Last year saw some great success stories for our UK centres and we know there’s plenty more to come in 2017. We made some key appointments during 2016, including the recruitment of Hannah Evans as Marketing Manager and Alan McLean as an additional Business Consultant. This has really strengthened our UK head office team and ensures thtaour growing number of franchisees continue to receive exceptional support.

“Staying at the forefront of technology has also been hugely important and investing in solutions like SpaceView and 3M Visual Attention Software has helped us stand out in the industry.

“Another major achievement has been establishing ourselves as a Google for Work Partner. Thanks to this, we can now offer eye-catching digital signage solutions powered by Google Chrome technology, via Google’s Chromebit device. In summary, we’re going from strength-to-strength.”

Globally, last year saw Fastsigns, which has 650 centres in 10 countries, welcome a total of 63 new franchisees, whilst also securing a Master Franchise Agreement in the Dominican Republic and U.S Virgin Islands.
