FESPA 2017 Preview – Inks

New textile inks from J-Teck3

The new series of Digital Textile Pigment inks for use with machines using Epson and Kyocera print heads will be demonstrated by J-Teck3 on Stand B64, Hall A1.

Products on display will include the new J-Tex water-based Pigment Textile series in a choice of nine colours for direct printing on a variety of fabrics and the full range of solutions for sublimation and direct printing on polyester.

Bravo for Kiian

Digistar Bravo

Developed for the industrial textile printing market, the new Digistar Bravo disperse digital ink, for direct printing on machines fitted with Kyocera print heads, will be demonstrated on Stand D65, Hall B6 by Kiian Digital.

It is available in a choice of 11 vibrant colours, including two intense black formats.

The company will also demonstrate a full range of sublimation inks for direct and transfer printing on to polyester and the recently upgraded pigment ink range for direct printing applications.

Sun to shine at FESPA

A range of new and existing inks and varnishes for industrial-grade, screen and inkjet printing will be demonstrated by Sun Chemical on Stand D20, Hall B5. The stand will be divided into four zones to cover specific market sectors and to promote the company’s partnerships and technologies.

Key products for the textile printing sector will include four versions of the SunTex range of transfer and dye sublimation inks for direct-to-fabric printing to both natural and synthetic materials, such as polyester. A complementary product in the range is a reactive dye ink formulation.

Sun Chemical will also show the Streamline range of solvent-based inks, including a version that has been developed for compatibility with the latest Roland Eco Sol Max 3 inks, and a range of industrial-grade inks that includes a water-based and UV-curable formulation.

New ink innovations from Nazdar

Nazdar inks

On Stand B60/Hall B5, Nazdar will showcase its new and established digital inkjet and screen-printing inks and will also be providing samples Nazdar Ink Technologies will show inks. The company will also show samples from its special effects range of inks.

New innovations include the 130 and 183 series of digital solvent inks as the latest additions to Nazdar’s ‘plug and play’ alternative to OEM inks.

Also on show will be the recently launched 730 series of flexible UV inkjet inks, the 2800 and 3529/3539 series of screen inks and the 2300 series of UV and UV LED inks.

INX Digital to unveil a trio of inks

INX Digital will introduce three new Triangle brand inkjet inks on Stand F40, Hall B5, including the eco-solvent OKS, together with LV8 and XCS, a pair of solvent inks that have been developed for the alternative inks market.

OKS is designed to run on OKI ColorPainter H3-104s solvent printers and will be available in eight colours, while XCS, which combines reliability with excellent quality, offers competitive running costs for high volume printers using large drop size heads.

LV8 is a very flexible, multi-purpose ink, which jets very well through mid-sized drop volume print heads.

Visitors to the INK Digital stand can also expect to see the Triangle DT7 aqueous water-based textile inks and MSS eco-solvent inks, which offer high performance and exceptional value.DT7 is areliable and cost effective ink for direct-to-textile printing on polyester, nylon or mixed synthetic fabrics and can also be used for banners and flags using the same material. Fast drying and ATX-free, DT7 inks provide a wide and vivid color gamut, excellent transfer capabilities and outdoor durability.

MSS inks are very cost efficient when used in tandem with Mimaki printers. Formulated for colour and chemical compatibility with Mimaki SS21 inks and available in CYMK, MSS is known for its high performance, outstanding durability, fast drying and compatibility with a broad range of media.
