The successful workshops that Antalis UK has been running for print companies looking to expand their knowledge of new applications and opportunities have now been developed to include small format digital technology.

Taking place at Antalis UK’s Digital Academy, based at its headquarters in Coalville, Leicestershire, the workshops were first initiated last year and will continue on 1st December with a ‘Print

Foil, Cut and Crease your own packaging mock-ups workshop’, which is aimed at anyone who is interested in producing packaging mock-ups in house and/or wishes to learn more about the all new Oki white and clear toner technology. Topics and demonstrations on offer will include the creation of professional folded boxes, cards and stickers in an office environment, the effects achievable with white and clear toner on specialist papers and boards and the cutting and creasingof  prints to create short run packing production and mockups. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own designs to trial on the day.

In addition, Antalis has been working with leading RIP Software Manufacturer CADLink to develop workshops for users of its market leading SignLab RIP Software and will be hosting an intermediate workshop on the 10th November for users who want to further explore the many features it offers.

An advanced workshop, scheduled for the 9th December, is designed for advanced users who wish to become expertsusers of SignLab.

Both SignLab Workshops will be presented by renowned industry expert Bernhard Nische, who is well known amongst his peers in the sign industry for his wealth of knowledge and unbounded enthusiasm.

Commenting on the continuation of the workshops, Giles Bristow, Antalis Digital Support Manager said: “The workshops have been a runaway success and following extensive customer research, we’ve decided to further enhance our programme to include these new sessions that are ideal for customers who are looking to enhance their knowledge in a variety of different areas.”
