Guandong recreated an Italian piazza at FESPA 2018

Guandong, which operated from a stand that resembled an Italian piazza at the recent FESPA Global Print Expo in Berlin, decorated every surface using materials from its Spot Deco range of materials.

Edoardo Elmi, Guandong’s President explained:We designed the stand to serve as a showcase for our products, thus enabling visitors to see for themselves the many different application possibilities that they offer. We embellished every area with reproductions of stunning Italian landscapes and decorated every single surface, from the floor to the pillars, to the tables and the struts, in order to recreate the colour and warmth of Italy.”

The Spot Deco products used included wide-format backlit fabrics, interchangeable magnetic wallpaper, panels with removable graphics and erasable wall boards.

On another portion of the stand, Guangdog used the occasion of the show to introduce the Magnus range, its latest innovation in the area of paper printing. This featured a real-life laboratory equipped with functioning systems for different technologies, including UV desktops, cutting plotters and new-generation, high performance laser printers, all of which fulfill the requirements of in-store communication.

The Magnus range includes magnetic and ferrous materials, glue-free fabrics and thermoplastics which, thanks to the use of applied nanotechnology, adhere perfectly to any surface, making them self-gripping (3960 micro suction cups per sq.m). All the products in the Magnus range have high thermal resistance that can withstand the temperatures of the fixatives used for the toners in laser printers.

Fabio Elmi, Guandong’s Marketing Director commented: The Magnus range marks the meeting point between two major technologies, laser printing and ink-jet printing and the materials help to  combine these two worlds and guarantee excellent results with both technologies, thus paving the way for new distribution systems and further opening up the visual communications market to new applications.”
