HP and Summa collaborate on cutting solutions
Summa has announced that it has entered into a strategic alliance with HP to develop solutions for the HP Latex printer series when used by sign makers and digital print companies.
Commenting on this development, Summa’s Chief Operating Officer, ErwinVandousselaere said: “We are delighted to be working with HP in order to provide solutions for customers who require reliable cutting technology. This collaboration will deliver significant improvements in efficiency for the print and/or cut solutions, present in today’s finishing processes.”
Xavier Garcia, HP’s General Manager, Large Format Printing division, added: “Our collaboration with Summa is a joint effort to provide the best technology for our HP Latex printing customers, who are in need of higher performance to support the increasing demand for innovative applications in this market.”
Both companies will disclose further details soon, while HP will demonstrate the new solutions a the ISA Sign Expo due to take place in Las Vegas on20th-22nd April.
