Hybrid to debut Mimaki’s JFX600-2513 flatbed
Exclusive UK and Ireland Mimaki distributor, Hybrid Services will debut the new Mimaki JFX600-2513 LED-UV large-format flatbed inkjet printer at the forthcoming Sign & Digital UK 2022 exhibition.

Designed to address the high-volume UV market, the JFX600 will be among the raft of new Mimaki solutions to be shown for the first time at the exhibition, which will take place at Birmingham’s NEC on 22nd-24th March in Hall 2.

Engineered for high speeds and high productivity, the new flatbed offers sign and print companies a broader variety of applications thanks to a wider range of ink types and increased media flexibility.

Hybrid’s Reseller Account Manager, Martin Southworth explained: “Mimaki’s ongoing response to market demand for increased productivity, quality and innovation has shaped the development of this new flatbed. Providing a hugely capable solution for companies looking to boost their capacity and introduce new levels of creativity, we foresee significant opportunities with the JFX600.”

The JFX600-2513 is an 8’ x 4’ flatbed and builds on the success of Mimaki’s significant heritage in the sector. With the aim of tackling the high-end UV flatbed market, the new model incorporates 16 printheads, resulting in significant speed increases over models that currently sit within the Mimaki line-up. The printer’s wide variety of ink sets facilitates vibrant, intense colours perfect for producing striking indoor and outdoor signage and display graphics, and the incorporation of white, clear and primer broaden the printer’s creative opportunities even further.

Thanks to Mimaki’s seventh-generation UV print technology, the range of media this new model supports opens the door for myriad applications, including grand format signage, interior décor and display graphics.

With a maximum printing area of 2.5m x 1.3m and a thickness of 6cm, the JFX600-2513 is compatible with standard size signboards, and its direct-to-substrate capabilities also facilitates printing on resin, wood, glass, and metal. In addition, it is also capable of ‘2.5D’ multi-layered printing, creating raised texture effects for high-value, tactile applications.

Visitors to Sign & Digital UK will find the new Mimaki JFX600 directly inside the entrance to the show in Hall 2. Hybrid will also be presenting new Mimaki technology including the recently announced CJV330 Series printer/cutter, the latest 100 Series UV and solvent models, the new Mimaki UJF-MkII e Series, the first showing of the compact, full colour 3DUJ-2207 3D printer, as well as other printing and cutting solutions from the Japanese manufacturer.
