IGS installs a host of Titanium cutters

The installations range from a 3.1 x 2.1 metre Titanium 3121 and 800 x 600 mm Titanium 0860 at DecTek, which now makes four Titanium cutters installed within two years at the South Wales-based sign and print specialist.
The very popular Titanium 2516 2.5 x 1.6 metre machine with a router, seems to be the preferred choice for companies operating in the digital wide-format, sign and packaging sectors – other summer installations have taken place at Universal Displays, Sherwood Universal, Hallmark and The Cut Factory.
In addition, the Sticker Shop in Bristol has installed a 2.5 x 1.6 cutter to support its eight Roland Printers.
Litho and Label printers are reporting an explosion in short-run packaging due to the demand following the growth in small business start-ups and specialised packaging from high street brands that are supplying their influencers with product launch material. Titanium 0806 installations in this market included ADCAL Labels and Millvale Printers.
Commenting on the flurry of summer installations, Peter Flynn, Managing Director of IGS, said: “We are building a very strong portfolio of blue-chip companies in the wide-format, sign and packaging industries. Our price/performance ratio is hard to match and this powerful combination has allowed us to generate a very happy customer reference list since the Titanium series was launched three years ago. Our early adopters included Zenith Print & Packaging, Booth Printers and Printed Com, all of which have enjoyed the reliability of our robust design.
“I’m pleased to say the Autumn months will see no slowdown in installations and our showroom is very busy with demonstrations to customers looking for an affordable and reliable alternative to the market-leading brands.”
