James Ivison returns to Wrights Plastics

Wrights Plastics has announced that James Ivison has rejoined the company as Senior Relationship Executive.

James, who first joined the West Bromwich-based company in 2007, oversaw its successful expansion into working with many trade partners and brands. His new role will see him develop relationships with major clients, as well as adding new names to the company’s client roster.

Originally trained as a graphic designer, James, whose first jobs related to design, IT training and CCTV electrician/sales originally joined Wrights Plastics so that he could use his design skills in a hands-on environment.

He said: “I spent an intensive few weeks learning about the many production processes at Wrights, which enabled me to take the client from a basic idea or drawing to the most effective solution as quickly as possible.”

He left the company in 2015 but the opportunity to work creatively, developing concepts and delivering effective solutions in a varied selection of different industry sectors has lured him back ‘home’.

When asked to list the changes that have taken place in his absence, James observed: “The Group has acquired a lot of new, cutting-edge machinery, together with a new business, more clients and a larger workforce, but the ethos has remained the same. The team at Wrights Plastics is so loyal that practically everyone is still working here – and almost all of them are now talking to me again too!”
