KDX enjoys success at IPEX

KDX, a manufacturer of advanced polymer materials, used the recent IPEX exhibition to introduce its latest portfolio of laminating films and ‘glasses-free’ 3D products.

The range includes thermal lamination films, such as KDX Premium Gloss, Matte, Silky Matte & Anti-Scuff Matte, plus BOPP (biaxially orientated polypropylene) Wet Laminating films.

Michel Diruy, General Manager, KDX Europe commented: “Brand owners are increasingly looking for ways to differentiate their print and packaging so that they stand out from the crowd while also adding extra value to their products. They were thus particularly attracted to our glitter, frosted and metallic laminating films, which really seemed to capture their imagination.

“Our selection of 3D lenticular films, which were displayed on light boxes, also stirred up a lot of interest. These films provide a high optical and strong 3D effect that really makes them stand out. They are widely used in high definition 3D images for advertising, packaging, greeting cards, promotional POS, photo images and business cards, as well as in other print sectors.”

When using lenticular films in conjunction with UV flatbed printing technology, users can create new products that enable them to Create new revenue streams and maximise growth. KDX offers its own in-house image conversion from 2D to 3D to save customers design time and the expense of purchasing bespoke 3D software.

The company has direct routes to market in the UK and Europe and is supplying printers and converters directly, with next day delivery available within the UK.
