Massivit 3D launches the Massivit 1500 3D printer
Massivit 3D Printing Technologies, the leading provider of large format 3D printing solutions for visual communication applications, has further expanded its product portfolio with the introduction of the Massivit 1500 Exploration 3D Printer, which is designed to enable sign and print businesses of all sizes to target new revenue opportunities.
Available immediately, the Massivit 1500 delivers an affordable, user friendly solution to companies wishing to enter the world of large format 3D printing. By incorporating 3D printed models or enhancements to existing 2D applications, sign and print companies can expand their product portfolio to offer head-turning applications. These include, audience-engaging POP/POS displays, illuminated signage and props, as well as high-endurance moulds for cost-effective thermoforming for the retail, advertising, entertainment, events and interior design markets.
Based on the company’s unique proprietary Gel Dispensing Printing technology, the Massivit 1500 can quickly produce lightweight, hollow pieces up to 1.45m/4.8ft high, which can be joined together to make any size model or display.
Commenting on the launch, Avner Israeli, CEO of Massivit 3D, said: “The Massivit 1500 builds on the global success of our flagship Massivit 1800 and further cements our position as a frontrunner of innovative solutions for the next generation of visual communication.”
Beyond integrating perfectly within an industrial or sign/print shop environment, the Massivit 1800 and 1500 address a growing demand for greater customisation in traditional signage and displays. This includes attention-grabbing channel lettering, along with unique soft signage structures.
Traditional manufacturing methods often require a lengthy turnaround time and are mostly dependant on manual labour, to produce metal applications and, should iterations be required, this often escalates the manufacturing costs. With Massivit 3D’s solutions offering geometric freedom, sign businesses can transform standard channel lettering or soft signage into complex structures in a fraction of the time and cost compared to traditional methods.
Avner Israeli concluded: “ISA Sign Expo has proven to be very successful for us and we’re extremely excited to return with the landmark launch of the Massivit 1500. We expect that the market’s reaction will be very positive as we expand the accessibility of our trailblazing technology to a wider audience.”
Massivit 3D will be unveiling the Massivit 1500 on Stand 629 at ISA Sign Expo in Orlando on 22nd-24th Marchand on Stand A55, Hall 1.1 at FESPA Gobal Expo 2018, in Berlin on 15th-18th May.
