Mimak add light black ink to SB410 range
Mimaki will be adding a light black ink to its range of SB410 sublimation ink spot colours from February 2016.
The light black joins the recently released neon yellow and pink fluorescent inks, which are ideal for low-volume, high-quality use in fashion, sportswear and swimwear. Its addition will further expand apparel production possibilities for users and will increase the versatility of Mimaki’s TS300P-1800 wide format printer, a dedicated dye sublimation inkjet printer for apparel and textile applications. The new light black ink will be available in two-litre ink packs and its innovative and creative capabilities will be demonstrated on the TS300P-1800 on the Mimaki stand (Stand E15, Hall 1)at FESPA Digital 2016, which will take place at the RAI in Amsterdam, on 8th – 11th March.
Commenting on the efficacy of the new inks, Stephen Woodall, National Sales Manager – textile and apparel at Mimaki’s exclusive UK and Irish distributor, Hybrid Services, said: “These new spot colours can add real value to fashion and sportswear and the new light black improves the already high print quality, enhancing photographic images and gradations even further. Alongside the fluorescent pink and yellow inks, users now really have the capability to create highly unique garments.”
He added: “The fluorescent samples we have produced on the Mimaki TS300P-1800 are spectacular, so we anticipate that combining this with the new light black will deliver even more eye-catching output. We look forward to demonstrating this to visitors to FESPA Digital in March.”
