Mimaki’s TS30-1300 uses neon inks for eye appeal

Hybrid Services, Mimaki’s UK and Ireland distributor, has announced that Mimaki’s latest dye-sublimation offering, the TS30-1300 1.3m printer, has arrived at its Cheshire showroom and is available for demonstrations.

Launched at FESPA 2017 and retailing at just £7,495.00, the TS30-1300 is a 1.3m dye sublimation printer that offers true wide format production dye sublimation at a much lower price point and, according to Brett Platt, Hybrid’s Textile Product Manager, its configuration with yellow and pink fluorescent inks, will be of particular interest to creative sign and print companies.

He said:  “The demonstration unit at our Crewe showroom will e using the neon pink and yellow inks to illustrate the eye-catching possibilities that fluoro inks afford. The extraordinary shades that can be achieved makes them ideal for use in the production of dancewear and event branding and they can also be used to add value and vibrancy to bespoke products.

“In addition they can be incorporated into the designs for sports garments, such as cycling kit, swimsuits and gym apparel,to provide extra visibility and useful safety features.

“The TS30 will also open doors to fashion designers and design studios, as it can be used to createcost-effective and compelling samples and even finished garments on a range of different polyester fabrics.”
