MTEX launches three new printers at FESPA
MTEX has launched three new digital direct-to-textile printers at FESPA 2017, which is currently taking place in Hamburg.
The new releases include the MTEX Dragon, a 1.9metrewide roll-to-roll printer with eight heads, whichis available in either four or eight colours versions.Designed for those working within the sign, display graphics and interior décor market, its prints at up to 137sqm/hour with four colours at 720dpi.
The second new machine is the MTEX Scorpion, a 1.9metre wide printer with the option of roll-to-roll or an adhesive belt for use with stretched or knitted fabrics. Aimed at users servicing the high end fashion market, it is available with either 16 or 32 heads,with four or eight colours, with acid/pigment or reactive dye inks and speeds of up to 550sqm/hour.
The final new introduction is the MTEX Eagle, a 3.2metre wide printer, which offers either roll-to-roll or an adhesive belt option for use with stretched or knitted fabrics. It is predominantly aimed at the display graphics and home textiles markets and uses disperse (dye-sublimation) or pigment inks and offers speeds of up to 543sqm/hour.
All three printers have variable drop size pro heads ranging from three to 24 picolitre and a linear motor for fast and accurate print and resolutions up to 1440 dpi.
Each machine also features a modular configuration and can thus be upgraded or re-designed to suite individual business requirements.
