Multi Signs improves efficiency with the Bubble-Free Pro
Multi Signs, a family run sign company based in Bury S. Edmunds, has recently installed a new four metre long Bubble-Free Pro Applicator supplied by print solutions specialists, Josero.
Originally established over 30 years ago, Multi Signs started out as a traditional signage company, with founder Mike Maltby initially producing pub signage and van liveries from his garage, but whilst it still practises traditional signmaking techniques, the company has now expanded to offer the broad gamut of digital print services too, including the production of vinyl banners and window and vehicle graphics. Its premises have also expanded and the Multi Signs workshop is now equipped with a variety of the latest digital printing technology, including a Roland DG VersaExpress RF-640 printer.
Having enjoyed significant growth in recent years, the company is constantly searching for new ways in which to increase its productivity, which is why it purchased the Bubble Free Pro applicator. The speed and accuracy of the machine, which can be used by a single operator, will enable Multi Signs’ employees to laminate a wide variety of materials quickly and effectively.
Director, Rhidian Maltby commented: “This new investment will substantially reduce manufacturing time and increase our workflow, thus enabling us to introduce shorter lead times on some jobs. And generally increase our overall efficiency.”
