Multipanel and Perspexshow magnetic attraction

The UK based ACM manufacturer, Multipanel UK used the occasion of the recent Sign & Digital UK exhibition, where it was exhibiting with Perspex Distribution, to introduce three new products, Multishield, a magnetic steel composite sheet, Alupanel A-Lite White Core and Alupanel Traffic grade, all of which received very positive feedback during the three day event.

Sign and display fabricators were especially interested in Multishield, whichuses a 0.25mm steel skin to produce a magnetically receptive rigid sheet that offers a surface receptive to digital printingon one side, and whiteboard paint on the other.  Potential uses include magnetic displays and exhibition graphics,as well as whiteboard production that eliminate the need for vinyl lamination.

Wide format printers were equally in awe of the new Alupanel A-Lite White Core, which is ideal for use with printed graphics that require a neat exposed edge, such as those used in retail displays or for printed photographs.

The range of Alupanel products on display at the show included A-Lite, brushed metal and Black ACM, which featured during the live demonstrationsprovided by Canon, Roland, CSL (Fujifilm) and Complete CNC, where visitors were able to observe their print adhesion and cutting performance.

Commenting on visitor reactions, Luke Martyn, Marketing Manager at Perspex Distribution, said:“Even during the show, our brancheswere taking orders for the new Alupanel sheets, which are now available from our manufacturing partners, Multipanel.  The benefits for our customers are clear and we look forward to following up all stand enquiries so that we can introduce even more signmakers and printers to the Alupanel brand.  We have booked space at the show again next year and are already planning further the introduction of further innovations.”
