New roles at Roland

Roland DG has announced a series of appointments and promotions within its UK and European teams following the recent promotion of Brett Newman to the position of Managing Director of Roland DG’s UK division earlier this year.


Sarah Lyons, who comes from an FMCG marketing background and has extensive through the line marketing experience,is stepping into the position formerly held by Gillian Montnaro and will be heading up Roland DG UK’s new marketing team, while also providing the company with a contemporary viewpoint on current marketing communication practices.



Gillian Montanaro, Roland’s former Head of Marketing, has been promoted to the role of Head of EMEA Marketing, a position that involves the development of marketing strategy and co-ordination Europe-wide.  Gillian offers a wealth of experience, together with an encyclopedic knowledge of the Roland DG product range, making her the ideal person to take on this newly created role.



She will be working closely with Jerry Davies, the Managing Director of Roland DG (UK), who was recently promoted to the position of President of European Sales, as well as retaining his current role as Chairman of the European Sales Team. Having delivered record sales figures for Roland DG UK over the past decade, this latest move will see Jerry, who first joined the company in 2000, continuing his rise through the ranks at Roland DG.

Both Jerry Davies and Gillian Montanaro will continue to be based in Roland DG UK’s HQ in Clevedon.
