Nth Degree Imaging kicks off Roland Dealership in fine style

Nth Degree Imaging, already an established supplier to the graphic arts sector, is already benefiting from its recent appointment as a Roland DG Dealer, with a successful attendance at Sign & Digital UK and strong sales of its new portfolio of Roland DG wide format solutions.

Managing Director Phil Dowson, who is also a professional rugby player for Aviva Premiership side, Northampton Saints and has represented England, explained: “We were appointed as a Roland DG dealer just prior to the exhibition and thought we’d kick off our relationship with Roland in style by bringing the Aviva Premiership trophy, which Northampton Saints currently hold, to the show.

This turned out to be a smart move as it provided an excellent talking point with visitors.”

And, it seems, this approach is something that is proving successful more generally too. “What I’m finding with a number of potential customers,” continued Phil “is that discussing rugby is a real icebreaker, especially since the buzz around this year’s Rugby World Cup means that everyone’s got a view on who is going to win! Once that discussion has ben had it’s a lot easier to move on to discussing a customer’s individual business need.”

Phil added that Roland DG’ long-established reputation as a supplier of robust, high-performance wide format equipment has also helped Nth Degree to quickly build up its sales pipeline.

He observed: “One of my customers, Zedi Signs, which has also loyal sponsored both me and the club for the past six years, has recently invested in a Roland GX-500, and we already have a number of other good prospects that are at various stages in the sales process, which we hope to close over the next few months.”

Nth Degree has also recently developed its own proprietary Augmented Reality App that works in combination with Roland wide format printers and offers customers a unique and compelling proposition.  Phil reported that this package is finding favour with of those looking to gain a competitive advantage in a sector of the industry that offers a great deal of opportunity.”

He concluded: “When you start to look around the rugby community, there are a large number of individuals involved in the sign and print sectors in some shape or form, as it’s a sport that by its very nature seems to attract people from innovative, resourceful and successful companies, so it’s a great place for a company like ours to find new customers. It’s a very positive start and the beginning of what I believe will be a very successful partnership between ourselves and Roland DG.”
