The perfect partner
When Citydocs Group, a specialist in document and workflow solutions, decided to launch its own large format imaging company, Willow Graphics, it selected a Jetrix printer from InkTecas its machine of choice.
CityDocs, Itself the authorised reseller and business partner for brands such as Canon, Ricoh and Sharp, purchased the machine printer from Jetrix reseller Perfect Colours.
Willow Graphics specialises in the production of large format imaging, using small format detailing, for the live events, experiential marketing, interior decoration, property, retail, fine art and museum sectors and, in addition, also supplies graphics to the movie industry. With production facilities located in London, Manchester and Leeds, its clients include companies such as Marks and Spencer.
The JETRIX award winning range of UV-flatbed digital printers, which can be used for indoor, outdoor, fine art and industrial applications, print directly on to any substrate replacing the expense and time spent printing and applying expensive materials using UV ink to deliver a superior finish and to give strong adhesion to traditionally difficult to print substrates. The printer’s advanced flat-bed printing platform, with a strong vacuum and auto power adjustment system for stable printing, means that it can print in fine detail, with extreme accuracy, even at speeds of up to 55 square metres per hour.
Peter Lawson, Managing Director of Willow Graphics explained: “We set up the company to offer a range of high quality printing services and work on commissions that involve printing to any scale, from Lego bricks to heights of 100mm, to single pieces measuring up to threemetres x 2.5 metres. We thus needed a printing technology that could reliably produce high class prints with the upmost precision, and, since the JKX7-D the can print on to pretty much any material or surface, in incredible detail, it was the obvious choice.”
JETRIX currently partners with over 40 print companies in the UK and has enjoyed a 15 percent increase in turnover over the last 12 months thanks to a growing customer base and continuous product development.
