Perspex Distribution introduces Palboard
Perspex Distribution has further increased its print substrate range with the introduction of Palboard, a multi-layered PVC sheet that features a recycled foam PVC core.
This innovative new product combines the extra-tough surface of solid PVC with the lightweight, easy to use characteristics of foam PVC.
Palboard has an ultra-smooth surface that offers excellent ink-adhesion when used in conjunction with digital or traditional printing technologies, is easy to fabricate and can be cold-bent with a v-groove cut to form an endless variety of versatile structures. In addition, it can be shipped flat, assembled on site and flattened again when dismantled, thus making it ideal for use as retail displays and exhibition stands.
On top of the environmental benefits of its recycled foam PVC core, Palboard also provides a practical solution for visual communication applications, as its multi-layer composite structure offers greater impact resistance than paper based products, while being lighter than aluminium composite.
Palboard manufacturer Palram has produced multiple CNC templates to inspire users to fully realise the material’s creative potential. Templates include trays, birdhouses and even tables, all of which and more can be downloaded online from the Perspex website.
Perspex Distribution stocks a whole range of UK produced materials manufactured by Palram, including Palsun Polycarbonate and Palight PVC foam.
