Pixartprinting appoints new Director of Customer Care

Radwen Tekaya has joined Pixartprinting’s management team as Director of Customer Care, a role that  will see him heading a department that has been TÜV-certified for some time.

Pixartprinting, one of the largest web-to-print companies in Europe, provides printing services internationally via its e-stores, which are available in 11 different languages. Its customer care team comprises eighty mother-tongue assistants, who respond to requests from customers across Europe in Italian, English, Spanish, Portuguese, German and French.

A Tunisian national, with a Venetian wife and a degree in contemporary history from a French university, Radwen Tekaya joined the Cimpress Group, a world leader in mass customisation, in 2009, and for nine years managed customer care at Pixartprinting’s sister company, Vistaprint, where he specialised in B2C printing services.

Although Customer Care at Pixartprinting already runs like a well-oiled machine, Tekaya has some clear plans for its future. He said: “Customer care plays a fundamental role in winning customer loyalty. We want to respond even better and more quickly to our customers’ calls, and with a smile on our faces.”

As well as working with the team to encourage a calm and harmonious atmosphere in the face of an activity that is, by its very nature, considered stressful, Tekaya has already announced that its operating hours will be extended. From April, Pixartprinting’s customer care will be available non-stop from 9am until 10pm.

Tekaya confirmed: “We will begin by expanding the service in Italian, French and Spanish, before extending it to English in the near future”.

This decision is in line with Pixartprinting’s localisation strategy, where products and services are introduced to suit the different purchasing habits of each country. As well as extending the operating hours, a new recruitment drive is also planned before the end of the year, again with the aim of shortening response times.
