The Print Show moves to Telford for 2017
Link Exhibitions, the organiser of The Print Show has announced that the 2017 edition of the exhibition will take place at The International Centre, Telford from October 11th to 13th 2017.
The decision was made following the enthusiastic response last year’s inaugural event received from both exhibitors and visitors and the fact that stand sales for this year’s show are already 25 percent up when compared to the same period last year. In addition, there has been a surge in the number of early reservation requests from exhibitors keen to secure their space for 2017.
The 2016 event, which will take place at Birminham’s NEC on 11th-13th this year, has attracted exhibitors from across the UK’s commercial print sector and industry leading brands, such as Konica Minolta, RISO, Antalis, Apex Digital Graphics, X-Press OnDemand, Intelligent Finishing Systems, Terry Cooper Services, and MGI have already signed up.
Telford’s International Centre, which is conveniently located just off the M54 to the west of Birmingham, is a stand out venue that also includes an on-site production company and two hotels, with a further hotel within easy walking distance, while Telford itself is the birthplace of evolutionist Charles Darwin and the Industrial, as well as being the home of the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ironbridge Gorge.
Visitors in 2017 will have access to free on-site parking throughout the course of the three-day show.
Chris Davies, Event Director for The Print Show, commented: “The International Centre is situated in an area of Telford that has undergone an exciting phase of redevelopment. Located just a five-minute walk away is the popular Telford Shopping Centre, boasting over 150 shops, in addition to a new restaurant and entertainment complex that boasts an IMAX Cineworld Cinema, and a number of top-class hotels run by the same group as The International Centre. And , for those visitors that are feeling extra adventurous, there is an ice rink and even a bowling alley, where print rivalries can be settled in a thoroughly friendly and enjoyable way!”
