The Print Show set to beat all previous records
Canon and Watkiss Automation are two of the latest companies to confirm their participation at The Print Show, as the event’s organiser, Link Exhibitions, reveals that the 2017 show is expected to beat all previous capacity and attendance records.
This year, The Print Show, which will take place on 11th-13th October at Telford’s International Centre, will feature some of the biggest names in the global print industry, all of which will be introducing their latest kit.
Canon will be showcasing a host of printing solutions, ranging from smaller-format office printers and production printers, right up to wide format devices, such as the Océ Colorado 1640, a 64” model that features Canon’s UVgel technology and can produce output in qualities of 600 x 1800dpi. Also on display will be the Océ Arizona range, including the Océ Arizona 6160 XTS and 6170 XTS, which offer maximum print speeds of 155sq m/hr.
Watkiss Automation, which is also returning to the show this year, will be demonstrating a selection of booklet making, laminating and perfect binding technology, including the Watkiss PowerSquare 224 system that features full bleed trimming and dynamic auto-adjustment to produce perfect stitching and book quality, regardless of sheet count. In addition, visitors will be able to see both single- and double-sided lamination on the automatic Plasti 350XP laminator and the table top Plasti 330.
Another returning exhibitor, SSE Worldwide has recently announced that it will join forces with Axzyra to demonstrate the range of Apache small-format, UV LED flatbed inkjet printers, which offer a print area of 600 x 900mm and are able to print onto substrates or objects up to a depth of 150mm.
IST (UK) has announced that it will use the show to debut its new Hot Swap technology, which enables sheet-fed, web or narrow web printers to run both UV and LED-UV curing on a single machine.
In addition to the exhibition, Kall Kwik will host its annual general meeting at the event and is encouraging its members to attend so that they can learn more about the company’s future plans.
