The Print Show smashes first sales milestone

Link Exhibitions, the Organiser of The Print Show has announced that it has reached its first target for stand sales two weeks ahead of schedule. 

The Print Show, which is due to take place at Birmingham’s NEC from October 13th to 15th, 2015, and will welcome exhibitors and visitors from across the print sector, will be a cultural celebration of all things print and is designed to showcase both the impact that can be achieved with quality print and the legacy it can leave.

Since being launched in November last year, the event has generated a high level of interest, with a number of major manufacturers and suppliers having already confirmed their backing for the exhibition.

The latest raft of exhibitors includes key print mailing equipment and solutions provider AMS-GB, which recently confirmed its participation at the show. The company’s Managing Director, Kevin McPheat, commented: “As one of the few exhibitions of its type operating within the UK, we believe The Print Show will offer us access to new business opportunities as well as new customers.”

Meanwhile, leading trade supplier and manufacturer of portable exhibition solutions, Ultima Displays, has also signed up to exhibit at the event. Explaining his company’s decision to participate, Managing Director Andrew Burdett predicted that the show will attract visitors operating within the full spectrum of print-related activities.  He said:  “We offer a wide range of printing services to the trade and this show promises to highlight many different aspects of printing, which will attract a lot of customers we don’t usually meet and will thus help us to expand into new market sectors.”

Other confirmed exhibitors include Ashgate Automation, B&R Moll, Copytrax Technologies, Clarity Software, D&K Europe, Learn2Print, Perfect Bindery Solutions, Premier Paper Group, Signmaster Systems and Touch Systems.

In addition, Link Exhibitions reports that two further major exhibitors will join this line-up before the end of January.

Commenting on the show’s success so far, the event’s Director, Chris Davies said: “It’s great to have so many companies commit at such an early stage of the organisation process and it helps to underline just how much the UK needs an event that will highlight all of the myriad opportunities now available in print.

“Once again, I encourage all print companies to visit, check outthe new equipment, and take advantage of the knowledge of those industry experts that will be in attendance. I also encourage those interested in exhibiting to get in touch with our team to secure their desired stand, as space is filling up fast!”
