PrintMAX secures first sale of Roland’s VersaVU LEF-20
Authorised Roland dealer PrintMAX has reported that it sold the first newly launched Roland VersaUV LEF-20 desktop UV printer within the first hour of the machine’s release!
The LEF-20, which has been eagerly anticipated as the successor to the VersaUV LEF-12 desktop UV solution, was launched following a teaser campaign, on Tuesday 24th September and, less than an hour later, PrintMAX confirmed that it had secured a sale to one of its existing customers and Roland users, Digitalblanks.com .
Digitalblanks.com specialise in the supply of blank merchandise, but also create precision jigs, custom made to ensure the best coverage when printing onto merchandise. These jigs can be used on a variety of printers, including the Roland VersaUV range. With the wider flatbed on the LEF-20, Digitalblanks.com will now be able to create customised jigs with larger print space opportunities.
PrintMAX is following the tradition for ‘first’ sales of Roland equipment that it has already established, having previously sold the first XR and VS printers in Europe and going on to sell more VS models than any other UK dealer. In addition, PrintMAX also secured the first LEJ-640 sale worldwide in 2011.
The company is now offering additional price support on the previous VersaVU model, the Roland VersaUV LEF-12, with prices starting at just £12,500.
