Rob Karpenko joins CMYUK International
 Rob Karpenko has joined CMYUK International, where he will be responsible for developing market opportunities across mainland Europe, including Russia.

Rob, the former International Marketing & Commercial Executive Director for Spandex, is a seasoned professional with considerable experience in the wide-format printing industry. Throughout his 20 plus year career, he has consistently proved his ability to deliver profitable business results and drive innovation at country, regional and global levels.

Commenting on his new role, Rob said: “I’ve been watching CMYUK for a long time and I’ve always had great regard for what it does and its different market approaches.

“The international division presents an immense opportunity. The strategy behind the company’s enhanced portfolio of new, more eco-friendly products, which centres around how attractive they are to customers, what they offer to end-users, and what CMYUK can add to the mix in terms of technical and marketing support, speed to market, product quality at a competitive price and so on, ticks all the boxes for me.”

Through its new division, CMYUK will extend its new era supply chain and market development strategy into international territories. This will mirror CMYUK’s successful UK activity where highly targeted social media campaigns are used to ignite brand awareness in environmental materials. These opportunities are then passed on to existing CMYUK digital wide-format print company partners and producers.

The Print Partnership programme supports brands in achieving and improving their sustainability goals, while the digital printing company acquires a new valued client. In addition, the single-tier, direct-to printer supply chain distribution model ensures the lowest possible procurement costs.

Rob will develop local relationships with key print companies operating within his territory, and connect them to the plethora of opportunities identified by CMYUK’s highly successful social media campaigns, which are directed at end-users and designed to highlight the sustainable alternatives to materials such as PVC, which is fast becoming outlawed due to increasing environmental legislation.
