See the new Mimaki TS300P-1800 live!

Today, at FESPA 2015(Stand T11, Hall 5),Mimaki will be launching the TS300P-1800, a 1.8m wide roll-to-roll sublimation inkjet printer, which is a dedicated transfer papermachine that offers new levels of quality and productivity in digital textile printing.

And, in order to properly illustrate its efficacy, visitors to the stand will be able to see a collection of stylish mannequins clothed in vibrant textiles that have been printed on the TS300P-1800.

Commenting on the launch of this latest addition to the extensive Mimaki portfolio of digital textile printers, Mike Horsten, General Manager of Marketing EMEA at Mimaki Europe, said:  “With the textile market booming, we have placed even more emphasis on bringing innovative textile printing solutions to marketand the result is the TS300P-1800.  Visitors to our stand will see real-world examples of printed textiles that perfectly illustrate the full potential of digital print for this market. We are very excited about the speed, quality and productivity that can be achieved with the TS300P-1800 and are confident that it will be enthusiastically received by both the fashion market and other textile users.”

The TS300P-1800 brings a number of new capabilities to textile printing, including the ability to print onto very lightweight transfer paper for lower running costs, plus a powerful vacuum feed platen that reduces cockling, while also offering print speeds of up to 115m2/h maximum when using four colours and 62m2/h when using six colours.

The printer features four printheads with a total of 3,200 nozzles and up to three different drop sizes, which are automatically determined by ink type and print mode, together with accurate dot placement, even with high head gap printing (adjustable from two to seven millimetres).

Continuous quality printing is also assured with the automatic Nozzle Recovery System, which kicks into action when a clogged nozzle can’t be cleared via the machine’s automatic nozzle cleaning system.

The printer uses a newly developed sublimation transfer ink, Sb410 that is available in bulk ink packs and an Uninterrupted Ink Supply System that ensures continuous printing, even when unattended and also has an external dryer that delivers up to 30 percent faster drying.

Exceptional colour management, including colour replacement, accurate profile creation and fast file processing is provided bythe new Tx3Link RIP, which can be placed in different locations to facilitate more efficient system management and operation and enables user to monitor the status of multiple printers remotely from desktop or mobile devices. The Tx3Link RIP also facilitates accurate calculation of ink costs and print finish time, as well as automatic nesting.

Mike Horsten continued: “This new printer brings so many innovations to the textile printing market that it is hard to summarise them all, which is why we are urging FESPA attendees to stop by the stand to see this outstanding product in action for themselves. Digital textile printing is taking over the textile retail market, starting with sporting apparel and weare ready to respond to the inevitable demand with this machine.”
