Sign Build tickles the senses
Sign Build, which provides signage for the housebuilding sector, has donated products to help create a sensory garden at Deeside Community Hospital in North Wales.
Forming part of asuite that also includes a sitting room and a crafts room, the garden, has been specially designed to fulfil the needs of the hospital’s dementia patients.
Seven undergraduates, who were working with house builder Redrow, were charged with persuading the company’s various sub-contractors to donate the items needed to complete the project and Sign Build was only too happy to get involved. It contributed a number of swing and banner signs for the garden.
Mark Cowin, a Director at Sign Build, explained: “ As a company, we pride ourselves in assisting charitable initiatives, and we were delighted to help such a magnificent cause.”
