Sign+Digital blasts into UK market with first Creative Cruiser
Following an extendedrecruitment period, Dublin-based equipment and materials supplier Sign+Digital has appointed Richard Collins to spearhead its launch into the UK sign and display sectors.
Richard will be using the company’s Creative Cruiser to begin his maiden tour to Birmingham and the surrounding areas on Monday 8th September in order to fulfill the region’sfirst orders for sign supplies.
The Creative Cruiser’s début outingwill thus see Richard making contact with signmakers across the West Midlands, Worcestershire, Warwickshire and Staffordshire and providing them with a range of business-critical supplies. But beyond the vast range of tapes, adhesives, tools, vinyls, media and inkthat the company supplies, Richard will also invite them to access Sign+Digital’s wide selection of educational and training materials, which range from ‘how to do’ videos and demonstrations, to colourful catalogues.
As a former signmaker himself, Richard appreciates the importance of this holistic approach and explained: “What Sign+Digital offers is an unbelievably great concept – a true one-stop shop that delivers all the supplies signmakers need, while also inspiring them with new creative ideas at the same time!”
In addition to the value of being able to demonstrate materials in situ, Richard believes that sign companies will be particularly keen on the special resources Sign+Digital can offer. Its Creative Guide offers a comprehensive range of kit and also explains how it can be used or applied, while the Sign+Digital website offers a host of application and training videos that are designed to help companies take full advantage of potential new business opportunities.
He continued: “Sign+Digital has a vibrant and colourful take on every aspect of sign and display creation, which carries through its brand, its business resources and its outlook.” Richard goes on to lament the fact that, for such a creative industry, this is an approach that has been sadly lacking until now, saying: “I’m glad to have been chosen to help Sign+Digital bring this vitality to British signmakers and can’t wait to meet them in my new role, especially since having worked in both sides of the industry, I probably have a better idea than most as to what it is they really need!””
Commenting on Richard’s appointment, Leo Maher, Managing Director of Sign+Digital said: “We believe this is a great opportunity for UK sign manufacturers to discover a reliable new resource that will help them to grow their businesses – and have a lot of fun while they’re doing it.”
Sign+Digital supplies a wide range of sign materials, large format consumables, tools, accessories and display products to the sign- and large-format printing sectors throughout Ireland and the UK. Stocking leading brands such as 3M, Orafol, KD and R-Tape, as well as Roland, it offers a two-day delivery service to the UK on most products.
Although the Creative Cruiser’s home territory will remain in the Midlands, sign and display producers from all over the UK are invited to register their interest for a visit at www.signanddigital.co.uk/creative-cruiser. Customers will then be grouped by region and a suitable tour arranged.
