SignLink Live rebrands as The Sign Show

Following a successful first edition this year, SignLink Live is to rebrand as The Sign Show in order to better demonstrate its point of focus and commitment to the sign industry.

SignLink Live took place for the first time in October 2017, when it ran concurrently with its sister event The Print Show. The two events attracted a combined total of 5,335 visitors from a wide range of backgrounds.

Chris Davies, Event Director for both The Sign Show and The Print Show, commented: “The Print Show does exactly what it says on the tin; it’s a show all about print and, in the same way, The Sign Show is designed to showcase all elements of signmaking, so it makes sense to align the two shows.”

Phil Kneale, Director of Graphtec GB, who attended SignLink Live this year, pronounced himself delighted with the quality of the visitors who attended the event, and added that Graphtec’s cutting machines generated a high level of interest. Equipment on show included the recently renamed and relaunched Graphtec F-Mark combined automatic sheet-feeding and die-cutting system. Such was the level of interest in the F-Mark that Graphtec GB dealer Ashgrove Trading was able to take a number of orders for the machine at the event.

The Smith Sign & Display arm of William Smith Group 1832 was also pleased with the attendance at SignLink Live, with Marketing Executive Kyle Giles commenting: “This was the first time that we had exhibited as Smith, so the show presented us with the perfect platform to showcase the brand and we had a very positive experience.”

The Sign Show will take place in Hall 9 at Birmingham’s NEC on 18th-20th September, 2018, where it will be co-located with The Print Show
