Signs Express Bedford welcomes a new owner

Signs Express has welcomed Rob Weall as the new owner of its long-standing Bedford centre, following his purchase of the business, which was originally established in 2006.

Rob, who will be working alongside the team already in place and continue to produce innovative signage solutions whilst also expanding the business’ existing customer base, has already recruited Steve Coleman as Centre Manager, and will be appointing further support staff to help cope with the anticipated increase in demand.

He said: “Signage is such an important part of a business’s marketing strategy and we’re able to supply solutions for every budget and requirement, from a sole trader wanting to advertise via his vehicle livery, to larger companies that require multiple signs. No two days are the same for us, which makes it a very interesting business to be involved in. We’ve got some exciting plans for the future and I cannot wait!”

One of the first major projects the new management team was involved in was the successful delivery of a complete new signage scheme for Woburn Safari Park. This comprised new entrance signs and pictorial wayfinding signage designed to help direct visitors to the popular attraction, plus window graphics featuring some of the species in the park and a ‘tiger skin’ wrap on the refreshments stand.

Jonathan Bean, Managing Director of Signs Express welcomed Rob to the ever-expanding Signs Express family. He said: “Rob  has a strong commercial background, having previously run his own company and worked for some of the largest transportation and logistics companies in the World, and is thus extremely well-equipped to make a success of Signs Express.”
