Signs Express opens new centre in Scarborough

The UK’s most Googled sign brand, Signs Express, has just opened a new centre in Scarborough, a franchise territory where the company was previously unrepresented.

The new centre is owned and operated by Edith and David Lloyd. David has extensive management experience in the graphic design, digital print, FMCG and manufacturing sectors, plus a track record of executing multi-million pound projects, while Edith, who has a corporate background in sales and marketing, is also a qualified teacher.

Scarborough is new territory for Signs Express, which currently has 65 centres across the UK and Ireland. Craig Brown, the company’s Managing Director said: “We are delighted to welcome David and Edith to the group and following their comprehensive training course at the Franchise Support Centre we believe them to be the best team to effectively run a new business.”

Located on Scarborough’s Eastfield Industrial Estate and with excellent links to the A64 and is only 10 minutes south of Scarborough town centre, the new franchise is ideally situated to service the whole of the Yorkshire coast, the East Riding market towns, and the North Yorkshire Moors region. With a purpose-built, temperature controlled vehicle bay and wide format printing technologies, including a brand new RollsRoller, Signs Express (Scarborough) is now equipped to complete both small and large products.
